Stacey Ryan is a pop/R&B/jazz-influenced singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Montreal now based in Los Angeles. A classically trained trumpeter and pianist since her teens, she graduated high school at 16 and studied jazz interpretation before leaping into a viral music career.
Her breakout came in January 2022 with the TikTok “open verse challenge” for her single “Don’t Text Me When You’re Drunk,” which garnered hundreds of millions of views and led to a studio release featuring TikTok collaborator Zai1k. She followed up with “Fall in Love Alone” in May 2022, which topped the Billboard Indonesia Songs chart and accumulated hundreds of millions of streams.
Since then, Stacey has performed at events like the Montreal International Jazz Festival, toured with Lawrence, opened for Joshua Bassett and Duran Duran, and released her debut EP I Don’t Know What Love Is via Island Records in April 2023. Cited as a “true pop anomaly,” she blends her jazz roots with sharp pop instincts and multi-instrumental skills—playing piano, guitar, bell ukulele, trumpet, and more. Strewn across platforms, her singles have amassed over 760 million global streams.
In 2025, she went independent, launching her single “Everything Everything” in March and gearing up for her debut album Blessing in Disguise set for release in August. Stacey continues to build momentum, headlining major tours across North America and evolving her heartfelt, dynamic brand of pop-jazz fusion.
