Dreamgirl, a surfpop band based in Kansas City, MO, enthusiastically returns to St. Louis. Formed in 2013 between Springfield and St. Joseph, the group mostly played around Missouri until 2017, when an anonymous Belgian teenager uploaded their discography to YouTube, catapulting their EP, “Illuminaughty,” to sleeper success. Dreamgirl has largely been on hiatus since their last U.S. tour in 2022.
